The 2005 Championship Celebration

Sunday, January 15, 2005 - Oakville, Ontario

The Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship wound up the 2005 season in grand fashion at the Oakville Conference Centre.

Sunoco rep and emcee Brad Brown Kicked off the celebration.  Presentations were made by the founder and patron of the Series, Ron Fellows; Nino Calafiore, Sunoco's General Manager of Retail Operations; Dennis Morgan of the Toronto Star Wheels; Mary Vincec of Decal Zone; Wrex Roth, President Ontario Kart Racing Association and Paul Cooke, the Series Administrator.

There were many memorable moments as our champion karters, trading their helmets and racing suits for shirts and ties, took to the podium to receive their trophies and awards.  Acceptance speeches rivalled the pros!  There were more than a few tears of pride as parents, families and friends watched their favourite drivers on the podium.
