Canada Inc. today released the eagerly-awaited 2004 Honda / Michelin Challenge
Series Regulations.
" The release of the Series regulations coincides with the recent step-up in
the delivery of Series cars to the teams and drivers, along with the release
of our new series logo", said Ralph Luciw, Honda Canada's Series Director.
"It's with great anticipation that everyone at Honda is waiting to see the Honda Civics back in action again. We all remember the great racing that took place and watched in awe as drivers pushed their Hondas to the limit... and even sometimes a little beyond!
The Series is designed to provide as level a playing field as possible for all entrants so the deciding factor at the checkered flag is driver skill and proper management of the cars systems.
Drivers are being provided with a car and equipment that will deliver exciting and rewarding performance and we look forward to seeing a numberof different winners on the Victory Podium this summer.
It is important to remember that we wish to see fair and honest competition that is governed by a set of rules and regulations that are designed to encourage this philosophy and result in the best racing to be seen anywhere in Canada.
We have recruited a highly qualified and knowledgeable team of Series Officials who will be there to help drivers and teams and ensure that any questions or concerns will be quickly answered.
