Canadian Competitor Licencing All International Licences, Professional Racing Licences and National Karting Licences are issued directly by ASN Canada FIA. Please go to our Forms section where application forms can be accessed and downloaded. National rally licences are issued by Canadian Association of Rallysport (CARS). All Regional and Club licences are issued by our Territory organizations. Licences are subject to meeting the requirements for the licence applied for. Holders of FIA International Licences may compete in any event for which they are eligible in their own country regardless of whether or not the event is listed on the International Calendar. However, they may only compete in events in other countries if those events are listed on the FIA International Calendar and if they have obtained written authorization from ASN Canada FIA to do so. Qualification For FIA International Grade C Qualification For FIA International Grades A and B To qualify for Grade B, ASN Canada FIA must ascertain that, within the 24 months prior to the application he/she has finished and been classified in at least 5 national championship or international races. To qualify for Grade A, the requirements of point a) must have been satisfied and in addition ASN Canada FIA must ascertain that, within the 24 months prior to the application he/she has finished in the first 5 places in the general classification of 5 races for which the Grade B licence is required, or, in the current or previous year, has finished in the first 5 of the final classification of a championship for which the Grade B licence is required. The FIA may require the ASN Canada FIA to submit the driver's record for examination. To maintain the qualification for a Grade A or B licence, the driver must participate in at least one international event of the appropriate category per 12 month period, or otherwise must again be observed, to the satisfaction of ASN Canada FIA, during practice for an international event.
