Our Championship visited Alberta in 2001, at Calgary. We now return to Alberta, this time to Edmonton, gateway to the Yukon and home to one of the finest kart tracks in all of Canada. Known worldwide for its hospitality, Alberta is prairies, mountains, ranches, cattle, horses, and of course... oil. Alberta and Edmonton are rich in motor sport history, having hosted the famous CanAm series of yesteryear and most recently in 2005, the Champcar Series. Our host and organizer is the Edmonton and District Kart Racing Association. |

Our host, the Edmonton and District Kart Racing Association, is no stranger to putting on good events. Mark Stevens heads up EDKRA's involvement in the Edmonton ChampCar race organization team and is the Event Manager for our 2006 Championships. Dan Beath's outstanding Stratotech Park, is located just minutes east of Edmonton. Dan has designed one of the finest kart racing facilities in all of Canada. It's smooth, its fast, its technical... and Dan and his team are focused on customer service. If you are a competitive karter, or if you want to gain experience at a big event, or both, the only place to be in August is Edmonton. This will be a super event. You need this one on your log card. Be there! Come back to this page often for more information and details |

Our Supplementary Regulations will be posted after we complete our Competition Number Request Process. In the meantime we need your help to determine what our schedule will look like. What we need you to do is complete the kart number registration form on the page accessed from the link below. You will help us determine how to best structure the classes of this year's Championship and to design our event schedule and prepare for your arrival. |
